Jeremy Adelman

Jeremy Adelman is the Henry Charles Lea Professor Emeritus of History at Princeton University and the Director of the Global History Lab at the University of Cambridge. Author or editor of over fifteen books about Latin America and world affairs, his forthcoming The Capitalist Era: The Making – and Unmaking – of the Global Mind (Princeton University Press) will appear in summer 2026.

The Global History Lab is committed to teaching world history across national borders and sustaining an international collaborative of young researchers tackling the history of the present, especially in emergency zones and in fractured communities.
