James Hammond

James Hammond is Professor of Geophysics at Birkbeck, University of London, specialising in using seismology to image magma beneath volcanoes, with fieldwork in East Africa, the Andes, China and the Korean Peninsula. He directs the Mount Paektu Research Centre and is a notable voice in science diplomacy.
