Ian O'Hara

Professor Ian O’Hara is the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Queensland University of Technology in Australia. His expertise spans scaling and translation of technology to grow the bioeconomy through biomanufacturing. In addition to his academic leadership, Professor O’Hara serves as the Queensland Government’s Biofutures Industry Envoy - advising government and supporting investment. He is a member of the International Advisory Council on Global Bioeconomy.
