H.E. Jiří Čistecký

Jiří Čistecký has served as Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Germany since 2024, representing his country in one of its key diplomatic relationships. A career diplomat with more than 30 years of experience, he has held senior posts at Czech embassies in Berlin, Vienna, Istanbul, and Moscow, as well as at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Prague, where he headed the Central European Department. His work focuses on strengthening Czech–German relations, European cooperation, and economic diplomacy.
