Hadas Erel

Hadas Erel is an Assistant Professor and head of the Social Robots Group at Reichman University’s milab. Her research in Human-Computer and Human-Robot Interaction explores how people’s social-cognitive tendencies shape their interactions with robots. Hadas develops innovative methods and measures to capture user experiences with robots and investigates the implications of attributing social meaning to interactions with robots, its potential in promoting human wellbeing, and its possible negative impact. Her work appears in leading venues, earning best paper awards and honorable mentions.
