Gur Alroey

Scholar of Jewish history and the President of the University of Haifa, Israel’s University of the North & most diverse academic institution. His research includes Jewish migration, Zionism, the State of Israel, the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict & Territorial Ideology. Author of many books and countless articles. He served as Dean of the Humanities & Rector of the University, championing a commitment to environmental & social sustainability as a guiding academic vision. Under his leadership, the university achieved top ranking among Israeli universities in THE Impact Rankings.
