Grégoire de Lasteyrie

Grégoire de Lasteyrie leads Paris-Saclay, recognized by MIT as one of the world’s premier innovation clusters. An alumnus of HEC Paris and Sciences Po, he envisions science as a catalyst for societal progress and sustainable development. Since 2020, he has shaped Paris-Saclay into a dynamic ecosystem that fosters collaboration between academia, industry, and policymakers. As founder of the Paris-Saclay Summit: Choose Science, he convenes Nobel laureates and global pioneers to address urgent challenges such as AI ethics and climate resilience. In 2025, he established the Paris-Saclay Territorial Ethics and Scientific Committee, a unique body that integrates ethical insight and scientific rigor into governance and innovation strategies. Through his forward-thinking leadership, de Lasteyrie sets a new standard for how technological advancement can responsibly transform societies and inspire international cooperation.
