Georg Schütte

Dr. Georg Schütte, CEO of the Volkswagen Foundation since 2020, holds a doctoral degree in media and communication research from the TU of Dortmund as well as a Masters Degree of the City University of New York. He conducted research at Harvard University and the University of Siegen. He was Secretary General of the AvH Foundation and served as State Secretary in the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Until recently, he was a member of the EU-Commission’s High Level Expert Group.
