Georg Holländer

Georg Holländer is a physician-scientist whose research explores immune development, tolerance and rejuvenation, with a focus on developmental immunobiology. He is the Hoffmann and Action Research Professor of Developmental Medicine and Head of Paediatrics at the University of Oxford, UK, and Medical Director of the Botnar Institute of Immune Engineering, Basel, Switzerland. He has helped establish transformative research initiatives in Oxford and Basel that integrate molecular, cellular and systems medicine to bridge fundamental immunology with clinical application.
