Francesco Gianoli

Francesco Gianoli is a professor and principal investigator at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where he holds an ERC Starting Grant. His research focuses on plant ecology and ecophysiology, studying how plant communities respond to environmental stress, climate variability, and land-use change. He has conducted fieldwork across European mountain ecosystems and South America.
