Elena Savoia

Dr. Savoia is co-director of the Emergency Preparedness Research, Evaluation & Practice (EPREP) Program at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where for the past two decades she has led U.S. and international projects on crisis communication and emergency preparedness. Dr. Savoia has advanced evaluation science to measure and improve systems’ capabilities to respond to large-scale emergencies. In recent years, her work has increasingly focused on the practical application of agentic AI in preparation and response to public health crisis.
