Bill Rosehart

Bill Rosehart is the incoming President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Waterloo, taking up the role on 1 July 2026 and becoming the first Waterloo alumnus to lead the institution. He previously served as Provost and Vice-President Academic at the University of Guelph and Dean of the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary. A three-time Waterloo engineering graduate, his leadership focuses on experiential learning, interdisciplinary research, and student-centred academic transformation.
