Armin Nassehi

Armin Nassehi is Vice President of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and Professor of Sociology and Social Theory. His research focuses on sociological theory, political and cultural sociology, and the societal implications of digitalisation and technological change. He is a member of the German Ethics Council and the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, and serves as Deputy Chair of the Bavarian Ethics Council. As an author and editor of Kursbuch, he contributes to public debates on social transformation, democracy and the future of society.
