As part of the partnership between herCAREER and Falling Walls Foundation, this Meet-Up features Luise Koch, a PhD candidate at the Technical University of Munich. She will share her journey as a young female researcher in Germany and discuss how networks like Female Science Talents supported her path.
Luise will also present her research on technology-facilitated gender-based violence, focusing on its impact on politically active women and how research can drive policy change.
This Meet-Up is part of a broader collaboration between herCAREER and the Falling Walls Foundation to strengthen career development opportunities for women in science.

About Luise Koch:
Luise’s interdisciplinary PhD explores digital gender-based violence and its effects on political engagement and mental health. She also consults on the World Bank’s Gender Norms project and focuses on the intersection of global health, behavioural economics, and gender. Her goal: to turn research into real-world policy impact.
