Luise Koch is a PhD Candidate at the Technical University of Munich, researching the prevalence and impact of technology-facilitated gender-based violence against politically active women. Furthermore, she serves as a consultant in the Gender Norms project of the World Bank which investigates how entertainment media shapes gender norms in India, Kenya, and Nigeria. With a background in Development Economics, her research interests lie at the intersection of global health, behavioral economics, and gender studies.
