Wang Hui, an intellectual historian based in Beijing, professor of Tsinghua University. His main publications include The Rise of Modern Chinese Thought (four volumes, Beijing: SDX JPH, 2004), The Politics of Imagining Asia (Harvard, 2011), The End of Revolution: China and the Limits of Modernity (Verso, 2010), China’s New Order (Harvard, 2003), etc.. Among his publications, China’s New Order is a historical and critical analysis of 1989 social movement in China in a global context.
