Vanessa Irumwa is a Molecular Biologist specialized in health Sciences. She is also a Royal Society of Tropical medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) student ambassador. Currently, Vanessa is a Lecturer at the University of Burundi and is getting ready to start her PhD. She is interested in Infectious diseases and doing research on malaria. Vanessa Irumwa is strongly passionate with women in STEM and has a desire to see more women being empowered and to see STEM being demystified to Women. She believes Science Needs Her.
