Uwe Ohler

Principal Investigator After several career stations abroad, latest as the faculty of the Institute of Genome Sciences & Policy at Duke University, NC, USA, Uwe became professor at the Humboldt University and a group leader at the MDC in 2012. His lab “Computational Regulatory Genomics” researches mechanisms of gene expression and machine learning approaches to decode gene regulation in the development of complex organisms. He can be heard on stage as part of the vocal arts ensemble Byrdland.
