Ursula Paintner

Since January 2022, Ursula Paintner holds the position of Director Communications at German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the world’s largest funding organisation for the international exchange of students and researchers. Her professional career includes several leading positions in the field of international academic exchange with focusses on international German studies and development cooperation. She is interested in strategic internationalisation and science communication. She studied German Language and Literature as well as history at Frankfurt, Messina and FU Berlin.
