TOM MONROE

Tom Monroe is the CEO of Vaxxilon, a company he co-founded in 2015 to discover and develop synthetic carbohydrate vaccines. These vaccines may drastically shorten the time to create antigens and then fundamentally change manufacturing, distribution, and even administration of new vaccines. Tom is an accomplished cross-functional leader with more than 25 years’ experience in the health care industry including in several start-up environments. Prior to co-founding Vaxxilon, he spent 15 year at Actelion during which the company grew from fewer than 50 to more than 2.500 employees.
