Thomas Bartoschek

Thomas is Co-Founder and CEO of the edtech start-up re:edu. He also is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Geoinformatics at the University of Muenster. There he is founder and leader of the GI@School Lab and the senseBox project. His research focus is on digital learning with (geo)technologies, human computer interaction and citizen science. He develops products for digital education and communication of his science. His work was awarded several times, in 2013 he received the ACM Eugene Lawler Award for humanitarian contributions in computer science for his work in GI@School.
