Stefan Eisebitt

Professor for Experimental Physics

Stefan Eisebitt is professor of Experimental Physics at the Institute of Optics and Atomic Physics of the Technische Universität Berlin. After studying physics at the University of Cologne he completed his Ph.D. dissertation in Vancouver on the subject of semiconductor nanostructures, before continuing his research in Stanford, at HU Berlin and in Lund. In 2015 Eisebitt was named director of the Max-Born-Institute for Nonlinear Optics and Short Pulse Spectroscopy, which is part of the Forschungsverbund Berlin association.
