Head of Research for the area of “Technology and Innovation”
Dr. Siegfried Behrendt holds a degree in political science and biology and completed his doctorate at Carl von Ossietzky University on the subject of “Pervasive Computing”. He has been Head of Research for the area of “Technology and Innovation” since 2014 at the IZT. The focus of his research is on sustainability innovations. He focuses on the early detection, analysis and integration of risks and side effects in innovation processes as well as on the design of transformation processes.
