Superheroes Against Superbugs

India (New Delhi)

Launched in 2018, Superheroes Against Superbugs (SaS) is a public engagement initiative partnering with young people to raise public awareness and promote citizen and policy action on antibiotic resistance in India.

SaS is a novel and unique effort where school children have been made creative partners in the fight against this century’s biggest health threat. We combine innovative science education and public engagement approaches to ensure that the project not only empowers young children with scientific knowledge but equips them with tools to use this knowledge to promote awareness and action in their sphere of influence.
