Rebecca Winkels is the Press Spokesperson and Head of Communications for German Red Cross, and a guest lecturer of Digital Science Communication at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Kiel University and a master’s degree in Science Journalism from City University London. Before she worked for the Helmholtz Association in various roles within the public relations sector and was the Director of Communications and Strategy at Wissenschaft im Dialog (WiD).
