Pascal Levensohn has 35 years of experience as a professional investor and fund manager and 22 years of experience as a Silicon Valley venture capitalist. In these roles, he currently co-manages three single-LP venture capital funds and advises a select group of multi-generational family organisations on direct technology investments and philanthropy. He emphasises breakthrough innovation companies with an emphasis on: advanced imaging technologies and 3-D data; automation and machine learning; signal processing and encapsulation of secure data; and therapeutics dedicated to finding a cure to Alzheimer’s Disease. A graduate of Harvard University, he is currently the Chairman of the Board of ShotSpotter, Inc. (NASDAQ:SSTI); Vice Chairman of the board of Authentic Vision GmbH (Salzburg, Austria); a director of Mixed Dimensions (Amman, Jordan); and a director of Cure Network Dolby Acceleration Partners LLC. Pascal is a former director of the National Venture Capital Association (2007-2011). He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Trustee of the American Academy in Berlin. He teaches corporate governance best practices to entrepreneurs at the Startup Executive Academy in Salzburg, Austria and to next generation venture capitalists at the Kauffman Fellows programme in Silicon Valley based on written work Pascal has developed over the past 20 years.
