Paola Picotti

Paola Picotti is a tenured professor at the Institute of Molecular Systems Biology, ETH Zürich, since 2017. She obtained her PhD from the University of Padua, and held postdoctoral and Assistant Professor positions at ETHZ. The Picotti group develops quantitative proteomics technologies for protein and protein structure analysis, and applies these tools to study intracellular protein aggregation and the molecular bases of aggregation diseases. Picotti has been awarded the EMBO Gold Medal, the Rössler prize, the Friedrich Miescher Award, and the HUPO Discovery in Proteomic Sciences award.
