Ozi Adi Saputra finished his Master’s degree in chemistry at Universitas Sebelas Maret Indonesia. He works as a research assistant in Dr Wibowo’s lab, mainly involved in the design and engineering of bio- and silica-based material surfaces for the environment and medical applications. He is experienced in the utilisation of agriculture waste, like oil palm empty fruit bunches, as a bio-based adsorbent for treating dyes of heavy metal effluents. With his invention, he could reduce the cost, steps, and time in wastewater treatment.
