Norihisa Wada is the Executive Vice President & Co-COO of Tokyo-based EduLab, Inc., the leading innovator of education with a strong basis in assessment and learning science. Norihisa drives the business innovation and investment in the field of EdTech. He is also a Business-Academia Advisor for Kyoto University with a passion for the instructional and behavior design.
His business career started as early member of Advanced Media, Inc. (company in the voice recognition industry which successfully went public in Japanese Mothers stock exchange market in year 2005) where he served as a Senior Manager of Entertainment & Education / Mobile Business Department where he worked closely with Carnegie Mellon University to develop and market the AI driven voice recognition technology which won two consecutive years in the DARPA competition.
Before joining EduLab, Inc., he was a Senior Vice President of IE Institute, a company well known for its unprecedented number of hit titles for nintendoDS & Wii setting the global trend of nintedoDS Study.
He has attended many international conferences as a presenter representing Japan in “Gamification”, “Mobile Learning” and “Assessments, Learning and Navigation”.
