Mirit is a member of the Elsevier leadership team, responsible for strategy. She shapes and drivers Elsevier’s strategic agenda globally. Her focus areas include growth strategy, innovation, data & analytics strategy, new technologies, evolving business models and Mergers & Acquisitions. Mirit also serves as Elsevier’s executive sponsor for Gender, as well as the secretary of Elsevier’s external I&D Advisory Board, which is co-chaired by Kumsal Bayazit, Elsevier’s CEO, and Richard Horton, Editor-in-Chief of the Lancet. Mirit has been with Elsevier for the last 9 years, and had previously worked for Thomson Reuters and McKinsey.
