Med Predict specialises in applying AI to predict the disease course and best treatment options for different types of cancers. Their software recommends tailored treatment based on personalised patient profiles. Current cancer treatment strategies often follow a ‘one-size fits all’ approach, treating all patients with the same cancer type equally, which is far from ideal: some patients respond to medication, others do not, and yet others even suffer from complications. In contrast, Med Predict’s software helps clinicians to create personalised medical treatment suitable for each case. Using deep learning technology, the software assesses patients’ genomic and clinical data, including environmental and lifestyle influences. This data can then be usedto improve diagnostic analysis, find the best individual treatment, and predict the most likely disease course.
