Matthias Hölling is Deputy Head of Technopark Zurich, responsible for onboarding, advisory and networking of resident companies. The institution has been promoting start-ups and technology transfer for 30 years.
Matthias has been an active advisor to start-ups for about 15 years. He was heading the spin-off group of the technology transfer office of ETH Zurich, which also gave him a background in patents and licensing.
He has been on the evaluation boards of various start-up and innovation competitions with a deep tech focus and loves to explore how new technologies can create value and have a positive impact on our lives. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich and completed a technology management program at IMD, Lausanne.
