Martha Ruiz

Martha Ruiz was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, where she got her medical degree in 2013. She moved to Mexico City to specialise in Radiology, completing her training in 2018. Shortly after, Martha started a master’s program with a focus on diagnostic imaging at the University of Alberta, Canada. During this period, she worked on projects focused on the use of Doppler ultrasound in pediatric liver recipients. Martha is extremely passionate about doing interdisciplinary work and trying to find practical solutions for real-life problems. She expects to become a clinical researcher and advocate for pediatric radiology research.
