Johannes Meier

Johannes Meier is the chairman of Mercator Foundation. He sits on the supervisory boards of New Work SE, Gasunie, Meridian Foundation, and Unicef Germany. He is an honorary professor for leadership at the HHL Graduate School of Management Leipzig. He was CEO of the European Climate Foundation (2011-2017), managing board member of the Bertelsmann Foundation (2003-2009), CEO of GE CompuNet Computer AG (1998-2003) and partner at McKinsey & Co. (1990-1997). Johannes holds a M.S. in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Communication and Information Sciences.
