Injonge Karangwa

Injonge Karangwa is Rwandan scholar and global health expert with a decade of experience building programs across Sub-Saharan Africa and championing multi-sectoral and interdisciplinary approaches. She has held pivotal roles in institutions like the Clinton Health Access Initiative and the University of Global Health Equity.  In 2019, Injonge made significant strides in intertwining African cultural and health sectors. Through innovative research programs and collaborations with Rwanda’s national museums, she founded the Hamwe Festival within the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda. Currently, Injonge serves as the Research and Evaluation Lead at the Institute for Creative Repair. Injonge is also a published poet and a musician.
