Heidi is a climate scientist with a passion for science and communication. She currently an Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Soil, Water and Climate. Heidi works to understand how to effectively connect science to decision-making in support of climate resilience. She has participated in research from Alaska and Antarctica to the mountains of Vietnam and New Zealand. Today, she uses communication to “move mountains” in order to connect science to action.
