Giannis Tsakonas

Giannis Tsakonas is Director of the Library of University of Patras, Greece and Vice President of LIBER (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche – Association of European Research Libraries). In the past he has been elected to the Board of Directors of Hellenic Academic Libraries Link and has served as Vice President of the Hellenic General Council of Libraries of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs. He has represented LIBER in the Boards of several institutions, such the Governing Board of SCOSS, the Global Sustainability Coalition for Open Science Services, and the Management Committee of the Knowledge Rights 21 Programme.
