Gérard Krause

Krause completed his PhD in tropical hygiene, and spent his postgraduate training in Germany, USA and the UK. He was department head and state epidemiologist at the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin from 2000 to 2013. Currently, Krause is chair for infectious disease epidemiology at Hannover Medical School and head of the epidemiology department at Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research.
