François William Croteau

Director of Smart City, IT, Innovation and Higher Education in Montreal City

François William Croteau is the City Councillor for Smart City, Information Technology, Innovation, and Higher Education for the city of Montréal, Quebec, Canada. He has served as the borough mayor of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie since 2009. He received a bachelor’s degree in history, art history and sociology from the Université de Montréal. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a PhD in Urban Governance. He was a lecturer at UQAM, teaching courses on city management.
