I’m a Ph.D student in applied microbiology at Chiang Mai University focusing on desert actinobacteria for promoting plant growth under drought. I did my master’s in industrial and commercial biotechnology at Newcastle University (UK) focused on new drugs leads from filamentous actinobacteria isolated from high altitude Atacama Desert. I won the best speaker award at the 17th Young Scientist Seminar for establishment of international research network for tropical bioresources and their utilization. I’m keen to investigate bioactive compounds from actinobacteria with biotechnological potential.
