Ernesto Llamas Pamanes is a molecular biologist with eight years of research experience. His multidisciplinary research uses human stem cells, neurons, nematodes, and plants to unveil new mechanisms to degrade or repair aggregated/damaged proteins to extend healthy aging, delay the development of neurodegenerative diseases and design the future varieties of stress-tolerant crops. Moreover, he is actively communicating science through illustrations and social media.
