Einat Amir, Yossi Hasson

Einat Amir is an artist and a researcher who works in the media of video installations and live performances synthesized with scientific experiments in social psychology and neuroscience. She received her MFA in Visual Arts from Columbia University and is currently a doctoral researcher in Aalto University’s Experience Platform – Department of Art & Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering.

Yossi Hasson is the Director of Research at ‘aChord – social psychology for social change’ at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Prior to this, Yossi was responsible for all research aspects in the Education department at aChord, that involved psychological assessment and evaluation of schools and informal education systems. Yossi holds a Ph.D. in psychology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His academic research focuses on regulation of emotions and empathy, in which he examines human motivations to feel empathy towards others in intergroup contexts.
