Edwin Obaje is a science educator, founder and president of ScienceSquad Africa, a growing science education club for young people based in Abuja, Nigeria. It has also members from Ghana. In recognition and appreciation of Edwins volunteer efforts to raise awareness on social media about the importance of supporting STEM education, scientific literacy, and science-based policies around the world, he was the New York Academy of Science Ambassador March 2020. Edwin majored in Biochemistry from Bowen University.
