Edda Schulz

Edda Schulz studied Biochemistry at the University of Tübingen and completed her doctoral thesis in Biophysics at the Humboldt University Berlin and the German Rheumatism Research Center from 2005 to 2009. After her doctorate she performed postdoctoral research at the Institut Curie in Paris from 2010 to 2014. Since 2015 Edda Schulz has been heading an independent research group at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin. Edda Schulz uses systems biology approaches to study gene regulation in mammals and was awarded an “ERC Starting Grant” of the European Research Council in 2020.
