Carlo Rizzuto is the Executive Director of the ELI-DC AISBL and Chair of the General Assembly of the CERIC-ERIC (Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium). He also serves as the Chair of the European Research Facilities association (ERF). His present activities consist out of Research Policy and Evaluation, setting-up new international Research institutions and strengthening Technology Transfer and Evaluation. Before he was the Chair of Elettra-Sincrotrone Trieste and Chair of the European Forum for Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) as well as a member of Expert Comittees for the EU Commission (CODEST) for Research Evaluation (CIVR) and for Research Policy (CEPR) for the Italian Government.
