Anna Maria Braun, is the CEO of the B. Braun Group, a global leader in medical devices, pharmaceutical products, and healthcare services. B. Braun is a system provider that develops optimal solutions for patients in close cooperation with healthcare providers – making a significant contribution to protecting and improving the health of people around the world. In 2019, the group generated sales of €7,4 billion and employed over 64,000 people worldwide.
Anna Maria Braun started her career at B. Braun in Asia. During her time as the president for Asia Pacific she was also responsible for the company’s business in the entire region. In 2016, she became a member of the B. Braun Executive Board and was appointed CEO in April 2019.
Anna Maria Braun is an attorney with Bar Admission in Germany and in New York State, USA. After graduating from high school at the United World College Of The Atlantic (UWC) in the UK and a one-year language course in Chinese in Beijing, China, she studied law at the University of Freiburg, Germany, and the Georgetown University Law Center, Washington DC, USA. Subsequently, she worked as a corporate lawyer for CMS HASCHE SIGLE, Düsseldorf.
Anna Maria Braun is married and has three children.
