Scientist at the Technology Platform Organoids Dr. Anna Löwa works as a postdoc for the Organoid Platform of the MDC Berlin. Already in her doctoral thesis she was engaged in the development of human 3D tissue cultures for the precise replication of organs in order to use them for the research of diseases. Currently, she concentrates on generating brain organoids. Here the focus is on the investigation of the pathomechanisms of Alzheimer's disease by using stem cells from patients.
