Melanogaster: Catch The Fly! unites students, teachers, local communities, experts, and scientists to monitor and analyse climate change's effects on natural populations. The project engages citizens in research to understand organism adaptation and track environmental variables, generating data on local climate impacts. By participating, citizens build trust in science and are empowered to drive sustainable change in their communities. Melanogaster: Catch The Fly! is a citizen science project co-led by Dr. Josefa González (Evolutionary and Functional Genomics Lab, IBB-CSIC) and Roberto Torres (La Ciència al Teu Mòn).
