Nabonswende Aida Nadege Ouedraogo

Dr. Ouedraogo holds a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Beijing University of Technology, and is currently appointed as a postdoctoral researcher in the department of Energy and Power Engineering at Chongqing University (China). Her main research interests include new energy optoelectronic materials and devices, notably perovskite, organic and flexible solar cells. She currently focuses on developing eco-friendly strategies along with improving the efficiency, stability, and scalability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Dr. Ouedraogo has notably published several SCI academic articles related to her field of expertise in high impact factor journals such as Advanced Energy Materials” (IF= 24.4), Nano Energy (IF=16.602), “Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews” (IF= 15.9), “Small” (IF=13.3) and garnered multiple awards for her scientific contributions. Of note, Dr. Ouedraogo recently received the prestigious research grant from the Natural National Science Foundation of China (NSFC). She also serves as guest Editor and reviewer for MDPI journals including “Energies” and “Sustainability”. She established wide-ranging collaborations with experts, academicians, public policy makers as well as companies across the world. She has a proactive mindset and is eager to contribute to the advancement of science.

"As a scientist, I aim to apply solar tech innovations to address challenges in sub-Saharan Africa. I also seek to use research to influence public energy policies for sustainable solutions as well as to inspire and mentor the next generation of scientists, especially women."
