Michaela Vojníková

Michaela Vojníková graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at the Brno University of Technology (Czech Republic) this year. She is currently starting her Ph.D. studies in a research group focused on Smart Nanodevices at CEITEC BUT. At the beginning of her studies, she worked on developing bioceramic scaffolds for bone and nerve tissue engineering. Her research interests took her to cancer research. She understood that she needed to get involved in research by herself and choose the active approach. Now, she is expanding her knowledge by studying nanocarriers for targeted cancer therapy.
